I started teaching Kaitlin different kinds of emotions and expressions since we received the 'Today I Am' book for review. At that time, she could understand happy, shocked and sad. Now she is able to act out other emotions and is also able to identify how we are feeling most of the time.
For example, if I use a stronger tone, she will tell me to "don't 发脾气". This morning while on the way to school, I was pretend playing with her and telling her that daddy's bullying me and I'm sad. Complete with fake tears and sulking. She asked me "Daddy bully you? You sad?" I said yes, and she told me "I sayang you in the afternoon ok?" Instant heart melt moment please. It's times like these that I feel like having another baby and that dealing with two kids might not be all that bad.
